Problems with Gameranger. # 1 Valadar Sep 26 2012, 16:18 PM. Hi all people on Gamereplays. Perhaps someone can help me. Not similar subject, but concept and genre, Star Wars Battle Grounds functions on Win 8.1. We should see a similar possibility of BFME working on Win XP-Win10. Used this link to get all the files: Go to %appdata% find My Battle for middle earth ROTWK files somewhere there. Click on that folder. In that folder should be an options file. In there you can enter the display size of your screen. Save the options file. You shoud be good to go.
BFME 2 Isn't recognizing my virtual disk. Installed on Windows 10, no third-party virtual drive was installed because instructions say Windows 10 can mount virtual disks.

Use the windows search (win+r) and type in %appdata% look around in the roaming folder for the My Battle for Middle-earth II files folder. Inside there should be the options.ini, if not create one. (Create a blank text file and change the file type to a .ini using Save-as) I can't remember exactly what to put in there off of the top of my head
